The San Silvestre Ciudad de Arrecife 2024 is a popular Christmas race that will take place on December 31, 2024, in Arrecife, Lanzarote. San Silvestre Ciudad de Arrecife 2024

The race is organized into various categories to encourage participation from the entire community.

  • First Category:
    50 meters, starting at 10:00 AM, aimed at participants aged 2 to 4 years.
  • Second Category:
    200 meters for children aged 5 to 7 years, starting at 10:20 AM.
  • Third Category:
    400 meters for children aged 8 to 9 years, starting at 10:45 AM.
  • Fourth Category:
    800 meters for participants aged 10 to 13 years, starting at 11:15 AM.
  • Absolute Category:
    Participants aged 12 years and above can join this category, running a total of 5 km. This race will start at 12:00 PM.

Registration

Registrations are open until December 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The registration fees are 8 euros for adults and 5 euros for children. Interested participants can register through the official event website.

Dorsal Collection

The dorsal collection will take place on December 30 at the OPEN MALL Shopping Center from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Race Route

The starting point will be at Parque Islas Canarias, covering the maritime promenade of Arrecife, including iconic areas such as El Reducto and Charco de San Ginés.

Solidarity Aspect

This year, the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pequeño Valiente Association, which provides support to children with cancer and has facilities in Arrecife.

Swim Silvestre Ciudad de Arrecife 2024

In addition to the race, the first edition of Swim Silvestre Ciudad de Arrecife 2024 will also take place on December 31, a swimming competition at El Reducto Beach with categories for all ages.
