A common question is how to get to Barranco de las Vacas<\/strong>, because the name used on social media does not always lead visitors to the exact location. The entrance is easy to miss, the nearby road is narrow and parking possibilities are extremely limited.<\/p>\n

The smooth, curved walls seen in photographs belong to the small section generally known as the Tobas de Colores. The popular name can create confusion. Travellers commonly search for Barranco de las Vacas, while the photographed formation may also appear as Tobas de Colores or be associated with Barranco de Barafonso.<\/p>\n

This distinction matters when using a navigation app. Entering only the general ravine name may lead to a different point<\/strong> rather than the short, narrow canyon shown in most photographs.<\/p>\n

Searching for the Tobas de Colores near Ag\u00fcimes and Temisas is usually more precise. Even then, drivers must remain attentive because the access is not marked like a major tourist attraction.<\/p>\n

Reaching the area from Ag\u00fcimes<\/h2>\n

The usual access is beside the GC-550 road, around kilometre 14, on the route between Ag\u00fcimes and Temisas. There is no large visitor entrance, formal reception area or spacious car park.<\/p>\n

From the roadside, visitors continue on foot and descend towards the ravine. The path passes beneath the road structure before reaching the narrow Tobas de Colores section.<\/p>\n
