Over the years, through FirstMinute Excursions<\/strong><\/a> and LastMinute Transfer<\/strong><\/a>, we have been showing you that Gran Canaria is much more than just a beautiful beach island. In fact, it’s very well positioned as a sports destination. Today, on our blog, we talk about the third edition of a test that has great acceptance. We are referring to the 360\u00ba The Challenge in Gran Canaria 2024, which will be held in a few months.<\/p>\n

360\u00ba The Challenge in Gran Canaria 2024<\/h2>\n

The 360\u00ba The Challenge in Gran Canaria is a demanding mountain race. It has become one of the most powerful endurance tests in the European scene.<\/p>\n

It covers a distance of more than 250 kilometers and more than 12,000 meters of positive elevation gain. Therefore, this competition challenges experienced runners to cover a technical and unmarked course in self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

This race, held on the island of Gran Canaria, offers participants the unique opportunity to explore the island’s most remote and unique landscapes, passing through virtually all the municipalities that make it up.<\/p>\n

With Tejeda as the starting and finishing point, the runners delve into an impressive volcanic landscape, surrounded by the iconic Roque Nublo.<\/p>\n

Thus, the 360\u00ba The Challenge Gran Canaria is an extreme adventure where endurance, orientation, and the ability to withstand weather changes are fundamental aspects to successfully complete the test.<\/p>\n

The participants, limited to 100 people, have 101 hours to cover the demanding route, facing different life bases and strategic refreshment points along the way.<\/p>\n

In this competition, prominent international runners face the challenge of conquering the 360\u00ba The Challenge Gran Canaria. In fact, it is so demanding that last year only 25 of its runners managed to complete it successfully.<\/p>\n

This year, it is scheduled to take place between November 13 and 17. Finally, the registration period will open next March 20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
